Lifelight is the extremely catchy main theme from Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Lifelight was composed by Hideki Sakamoto and can be heard in many different variations and remixes in the game. So, did the world really need another Lifelight cover? Maybe, maybe not, but it’s such a great song that I just had to do my own rock guitar cover version of it!

Since it was first unveiled as the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theme at E3 in 2018 in its instrumental version, Lifelight has spread like wildfire among Smash Bros. fans, hyping everyone up for the game’s release. When I first heard Lifelight in the Trailer for World of Light, I couldn’t get it out of my head for days. I knew I had to do my own guitar cover sometime, so here it is!

The music video’s setting is derived from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s adventure mode, World of Light. The video uses overlayed footage from World of Light’s opening cinematic.
